Terms & Conditions

Bookings and payment can be made via our website with a credit card under the “Book an Apartment” tab. Visa and Mastercard are accepted with a 1.5% fee. Premium and International Visa/MasterCard incur a higher fee, which will be advised at time of booking. Alternatively you can contact us direct via email or phone to make a booking. We also accept direct credit bank transfers to our bank account (ANZ bank).

Upon making a booking, a 50% deposit is due to secure the booking. The final payment is then due 7 days prior to your arrival at the property (or 14 days prior if it’s a peak period booking). PLEASE NOTE: If the booking is within the month then full payment will be taken at the time of booking from your credit card. Check-in instructions for the property will then be emailed to you once final payment has been received (7 days prior to your arrival).

BOND SECURITY DEPOSIT: All tenants must fill in and sign the bond security deposit form before their stay as part of the terms and conditions of stay. Credit card details will be stored for the bond security until after your departure. When making this booking you are authorising Nautilus Apartments management to hold these credit card details for the bond security deposit which is $1000 (per apartment) and $500 for the Studio Room. Nautilus Management is authorised to spend funds from the bond to cover damage or loss caused to the premises or contents by the tenant during the stay. The guest will be advised accordingly via email of any claim being made on their security bond deposit.

All cancellation requests must be in writing and will incur a $50 cancellation/admin fee.

Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will forfeit total deposit. Cancellations within 7 days of arrival will forfeit full payment. All cancellation requests must be in writing and will incur a $50 cancellation/admin fee.

HIGH & PEAK SEASON BOOKINGS: Cancellations within 1 month of arrival will forfeit total deposit. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will forfeit full payment. All cancellation requests must be in writing and will incur a $50 cancellation/admin fee.

Due to the high demand of this w/end in February each year, any cancellation prior to arrival will loose the full deposit payment, unless we can re-rent the apartment. In the event that we can re-rent the apartment, we will refund the deposit minus the $50 cancellation/admin fee. Cancellations within 14 days of arrival will forfeit the FULL payment. No exceptions to the rule.

Check in is STRICTLY on or after 2pm unless otherwise approved by Nautilus Management. Keys must be collected from the key box located adjacent to door way on right hand side of car park garage door by using the code issued with your booking confirmation.

Once check-in has taken place, keys are the responsibility of the tenant. If keys are lost or locked inside the apartment a call out fee of $50 (after 7pm) applies which will be deducted from the tenants bond. If a remote is lost a replacement cost of $66 will be deducted from the tenants bond.
NOTE: Please do not pull on the Red Cord attached to the garage door. This puts the door into Manual Mode. Please just use the remote or the remote located on the garage wall to open/close the garage door.

Check out is STRICTLY on or before 10am unless otherwise approved by Nautilus Management. Front door key and garage remote must be returned to the key box from where they were collected using the code issued with your booking confirmation. Failure to return the keys and remote to the key box by 10am will incur a $50.00 charge, which will be deducted from the bond. If check-out occurs later than midday (unless otherwise approved by Nautilus Management), a full nights tariff will apply and be deducted from the bond.

The guest accepts responsibility for and agrees to indemnify the owner against any loss or damage to the premises or contents caused by them or guests of theirs during the guest’s occupancy. The guest must report any damages, breakages or lost items (including keys) immediately to Nautilus Apartments management.

Nautilus Apartments has a strict NO PARTY POLICY and operates an 11pm curfew on all of the outdoor courtyard areas. The number of guests gathered in the apartment overnight (i.e. after 9pm) must not exceed the sleeping capacity of the apartment. Any persons exceeding this number will be considered trespassers. Noise must be kept to a minimum level at all times. If any noise complaints are received from the neighbouring residents you will be asked to leave the premises immediately. Your accommodation tariff will not be refunded. Your security deposit may not be refunded.

It is the occupant’s responsibility to ensure that the property is left in a clean and tidy manner. The dishwasher is to be left empty and dishes put away in cupboards. Bench tops are to be left clean and clear. All furniture must be left in original position. BBQs and their utensils must be left clean. Please turn off the gas after use. Excess garbage is your responsibility, and must be disposed of on departure. Each apartment has its own numbered bins. The red bin is for household waste and the yellow bin is for recycling (for cardboard, glass, paper and glass only). Failure to comply with the above will result in an additional cleaning fee of $50.00, which will be deducted from the bond.

(a) STRICTLY NO SMOKING on the premises
(b) STRICTLY no pets allowed on the premises – anyone caught sneaking pets in will be asked to leave immediately and will be charged an excess cleaning fee of min $200.
(c)The premises shall be occupied solely for residential purpose by those persons listed on the booking. The premises shall not be used as a venue for social functions, including but not limited to weddings, receptions, bucks and hens parties or any other social gathering. STRICT NO PARTY POLICY!!!
(d) No person on the premises shall be guilty of conduct that is a nuisance to adjoining or neighbouring occupiers. Excess noise is not permitted after 11pm under any circumstance. Nautilus Management reserves to right to evict guests who are found to be violating the noise curfew of 11pm. All courtyard areas need to be vacated by this time to avoid disruption to other guests.
(e) The number of occupant’s MUST NOT exceed the number advertised and prescribed on booking. Failure to comply will result in termination of this agreement.
(f) Seafood is not to be gutted, scaled or cleaned at the property. Seafood scraps are not to be left behind in bins, please freeze them and take them with you on departure.
(g) No responsibility is taken for the occupants personal property left at the premises.

Each apartment is fitted with a 1KG DCP ABE Fire Extinguisher and the 1m x 1m Fire Blanket. These are for Fire Fighting only. If you are not fully trained please DO NOT USE.  ANYBODY CAUGHT TAMPERING WITH THIS EQUIPMENT WILL BE CHARGED A $200 CALL OUT FEE PLUS REPLACEMENT OFF THE EQUIPMENT.

The guest agrees to allow the owner or his nominee to enter the premises to arrange any necessary maintenance repairs. Any area of the property, which is locked and for which a key has not been supplied is private and not for tenants use. Anyone gaining unlawful access to a private area shall be found to be in breach of this agreement and legal action may be taken.

In regards to telephone and email enquiries, our descriptions are made in good faith.

Failure to comply with the above mentioned conditions will result in immediate termination of the guest’s tenancy and forfeit of any rental monies paid including bond.
